Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter brunch at our usual spot, The Park Chalet, with Jen and Floyd, Giggen, Gigi, Sean and Tiff, and the Murphy Mortimore family (Chuck, Mara, Esther and Dottie). Unfortunately, I didn't get a good shot of the four of them all together this year...we ducked out a little early to get Floyd a nap. We very much missed Uncle Scott who was in the hospital and wasn't able to make it this year.

Dolores Park

The grand re-opening of the new Dolores Park playground got a two thumbs up from the kids.

Dragon Warriors

The kids have been watching a lot of Kung Fu Panda lately. So, they were thrilled when Jason brought these Dragon Warrior outfits home from China. He told them the great panda himself sent them home for them and, no surprise, they believed him. Both are very anxious to get to go to China themselves to see a panda.

Portfolio Night

Portfolio Night is when all the Grattan students invite their parents in to their classrooms to show them the great work they've produced all year. In Mr. Draven's class the students set up stations (about 10 of them) all around the classroom and they were instructed to take their parents around and demonstrate the different skills they had learned. Wyatt was very proud to show off his work!

Looking for Birthday Ideas?

This pink dress was on his list during a recent trip to the mall...

Hiking

Hiking in Glen Park Canyon with the Maroney Family (Julia, Kenzie, Jodi and Scott).

Super Whyatt

Wyatt's class participated in literary week by dressing up as their favorite book characters. Wyatt chose the character Super Why from the book series and TV show.

Wyatt's Birthday Party

Here are some very belated shots of Wyatt's sixth birthday party at Daly City Party Playhouse.

Good Morning

I just love this photo for some strange reason. It is not a great photo but, it was taken very early in the morning and it seems to capture both of the true personalities.

The Gang

Wyatt, Julia, Kenzie, Malcolm and Dottie. Hanging out at Giggen's house for papa and Sean's birthday. (Not pictured is Esther who could not be trusted on the big bed).

Movie Night

Lately we've been having some special movie night slumber parties. We bring the kids' beds in our room and watch National Geographic specials on Dolphins and Sea Turtles. We all snuggle up in our beds and project the movie on the wall. We figure in a few years they won't want anything to do with watching a movie with their parents so, we better take advantage of it now!
