Who Could Say No to a Face Like This

Zoo!

Wyatt, Gammy, Papa and Mama go to the zoo. The highlights for Wyatt were 1) the train, 2) the golf carts used by staff to ride around the zoo, 3) the train and 4) the statue of the turtle. He wasn't much interested in any of the animals that we went to go visit..."no like the bears, no like the hippo, no like the lion!" He was slightly interested in the peacocks that were honking at the train, but I think only because he thought they shared a mutual love for the trains.

Poppie's Memorial

Wyatt and Gigi honoring Poppie on a beautiful southern California afternoon. The memorial was appropriately held at a Marriot resort, by the swimming pool. Wyatt left a little early because he was ready for a nap and on his way out managed to point to some guy at the pool and exclaim, "he has a fat boo!" Poppie would have been very proud.

Art Class

On Thursday we met Wyatt's friend Clementine at the Precita Eyes Mural program for their toddler art class. He loved painting and making "turtle cake" out of play dough. He refused, however, to wash his hands in the bucket of water set up specifically for handwashing which appeared to be Clementine's favorite art related activity. He took one look at the discolored water and exclaimed, "Don't like it!" and couldn't be persuaded after witnessing every other kid there take a turn at it. Wyatt had to be taken to the sink in the back which he apparently deemed appropriate for hand washing.
