Malcolm is crazy about motorcycles. This is his best effort at creating a "motorcycle" experience around the house - he insists on this particular measuring cup for his helmet.

Birthday Dinner

We started a new birthday dinner tradition - Benihana Japanese Steakhouse. Yum! And the kids loved the show.

Happy Birthday Mr. Pickles

Wyatt turned four on Sunday. He woke up in the best mood and was very excited about his big birthday party, which he shared with Stella (who also turned four) and 20 or so of their friends. Unfortunately it turned out to be a rainy day but that didn't stop everyone from playing in the jumpy house until large puddles started to form inside. Inside the party the kids played with toys, chased each other, ate lots of cake, cracked a pinata and played "go fish" for goody bags. Despite the insanity of that many kids in one space, it seemed everyone had a good time - especially Wyatt!

Music Class

Wyatt and Malcolm have been going to a new music class for the past few weeks. Wyatt previously grew tired of his music together class so, I was skeptical of signing him up for another music class. Then I heard about one that uses real instruments - a definite upgrade from his last class. They both love it - especially the drums. The new music class has inspired many tin pan jam sessions around the house lately. I'm sure that Giggen's neighbors are not as thrilled with the noise making as we are.

Helping out a little around the yard at Giggen's house is the least they can do after all the destruction they have caused.

Ikea

We've been hit hard with illness the past few weeks so, sickness, combined with lots of rain plus a busy work schedule has meant lots of indoor activities and not too many blog posts. Here is Wyatt on one of our favorite indoor outings - IKEA!
