Lemos Farm

Yesterday we all traveled down to Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay for Mikayla's 5th birthday party. The boys had a blast riding trains and ponies, feeding goats, and smashing pumpkins.

Safeway

Just a cute shot of our shopping trip this am. And yes, it is worth it to drive across town to the Safeway that has the cars attached to the shopping carts in order to keep them occupied for at least part of trip.

First Day of School

Today was Wyatt's first day of school. After claiming all day that he wasn't going, Gisella brushed his hair and Papa whisked him off to Cole Valley. The first few minutes were tense, but everything went very well and he stayed at school by himself for several hours, playing with the other kids and hanging out with Snoopy the Snail. The teachers said he did great, but he didn't want to eat at snack time. Apparently, when offered popcorn, he told the teachers "no thank you, I only eat Gammie's popcorn". He's cookoo.

Demolition Man

Demolition has begun at the new house. We stopped by yesterday for Wyatt to take care of some inspections.

Pawley's Island 2009

We are currently spending a week at the beach with Kristin, Aaron and kids in Pawley's Island, SC. We've settled in to a nice routine of beaching, lunching, napping and then beaching all over again. Our house is on the sound and has a kayak so Wyatt and Papa have also been boating daily. We tried one outing on the boat with Malcolm but he's not quite ready to stay seated yet. Malcolm and Wyatt are enjoying a beach that you can actually swim in! Malcolm loves running from the waves like they are chasing him, Wyatt has been going in up to his waist and loves jumping over the waves. Both have accidentally gone under, been tossed around by the sea, and survived. And, of course they love the giant sandbox that is the beach. Four little boys under the age of five has been exciting to say the least, but everyone has been getting along great and they have enjoyed playing together -- even if the Barralli-Lester Boys' Star Wars fascination hasn't quite caught on with our little guys.
